Waste in.
Energy out.

VSN Green Energy is building India's national platform for Compressed Biogas and the Agri Circular Economy — a 100-plant network over the next decade that turns agricultural residue into high-purity biomethane and returns organic digestate to farming soil.

The opportunity

Methane is the problem.
The residue is the fuel.

India's farms generate surplus residue and manure that release methane into the atmosphere — a greenhouse gas that traps far more heat than CO₂. Anaerobic digestion captures it, converts it, and returns the nutrients to the land.

Million tonnes of CBG could be produced in India every year from dung, residue, and waste — exceeding the country's entire current natural gas demand.

Of India's natural gas is imported as LNG. CBG is the homegrown substitute — a national energy-security lever, not just a fuel.

CBG plants commissioned nationwide so far, against a national potential built for thousands. The gap is the opportunity — and the programme.

The circular model

Nothing leaves the system.

Crops feed the digester; the digester feeds the field. VSN's platform is built so that every stage of the chain — agricultural resources, CBG production, digestate, fertilizer and soil — strengthens the next.

Our brand vision

"Vision for
Sustainable Nature."

It's not a slogan — it's the company's name, spelled out. VSN Green Energy exists to prove that clean energy, prosperous farming and restored soil are one system, built a hundred plants at a time.

The VSN decade

Four states first.
Then the nation.

Development begins with a defined state-wise sequence — chosen for feedstock depth, offtake and logistics — then scales nationally.

The defined development portfolio across four states, from Nizamabad to Kurnool.

2032 – 2047

Plants 17–100

Progressive national commissioning under the long-term 100-plant expansion programme.
